Horror footage not to be taken lightly!

If you want to see how close Maya came to drowning – watch this – it’s not in English but the images speak volumes!

text with the video states
“Maya Gabeira survived a serious accident while trying to achieve the World record, for biggest wave ever surfed. She was unconscious when she was finally rescued. Her team mate, Carlos Burle rescued her from the sea and performed CPR.
Maya soon recovered her consciousness and was taken to a hospital. She is fine now.”

I bet she has a few nightmares!
