Burleigh Heads, QLD - Following the update to Android Wear 2.0 in April, Nixon now unveils its Mission iOS app bringing the complete Mission smartwatch experience to iPhone users. The iOS app provides the full functions of the brand’s real-time “Shred Alerts” feature sending real-time surf and snow conditions data directly to your wrist. The Mission iOS app is now available to download in the App Storehere.
Under the recent Android Wear 2.0 update, iPhone users also gained access to an improved user interface, standalone apps and enhancements to existing smartwatch functionalities, including: the ability to download apps straight the Mission from the on-watch Google Play store; enhanced messaging and fitness apps; built-in Google Assistant; customisable watch faces with information pulled from favorite apps and adjustable sub-dial icons; ambient mod for chronograph and timer functions; and new colour combinations for popular Nixon watch faces, such as the Sentry, Unit and Ranger.
Retailing for $599.99 AUD, the Mission is available at Nixon stores, select specialty retailers and online at Nixon.com. Custom models are available at Nixon stores equiped with custom bars at Bondi Junction and Chadstone, priced starting at $650.00 AUD.

The Mission was awarded Accessory Product of the Year from SIMA, the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association. A group of surf industry peers and a top list of retailers determined the vote. The Mission’s design language and functionality were inspired by Nixon’s action sports DNA and that is what sets it apart from other smartwatches. Nixon couldn’t sacrifice its basic requirements (like water resistance rating and tide functionality) for technology, so the Mission took things further.
