PIC OF THE WEEK!

Reading the weather is one of surfings greatest mysteries! Swells that are forecast that never eventuate or wind directions the opposite to that forecast. With the advent of modern forecasting technology,the hit ratio has become higher, yet there are still days that catch you out. Sometimes being johnny-on-the-spot is necessary, or just constantly stalking your local surf break, knowing that any minute now that wind could change! And yesterday Richard Christie scored one of those moments when his local went from toxic onshore, to become groomed barrels in a matter of minutes and he was wasting no time locking in.
